Summer Camp 2008

Our summer camp is for all horse loving children between the ages of 5 and 15 who want to learn everything there is to know about horses and how to ride. We offer an extensive foundation in horseback riding and care in a fun and safe environment. Campers learn about safety, teamwork, responsibility, animal husbandry, barn management, equine nutrition and animal behavior. On Fridays, parents are invited to watch their kids participate in games on horseback.

We will be offering three new camps this summer:

"Little Kids Camp" - For the young horse enthusiasts, Ages 5-7.

"Seasoned Riders Camp" - To participate, riders must have permission from the program director. This camp offers the chance to explore different aspects of the horse world and rider. The camp will include 3 classes at the Bucks County Horse Park. Fee for this session includes trailering.

"Polo Specialty Camp" - AM Session will be open to riders that currently play polo. The focus will be on arena team strategy, field positioning, offensive and defensive strategies, penalties and conversion, and riding. PM session for riders that can walk and trot comfortably under control and want to learn about arena polo. In this session students will learn polo basics, riding, hitting, equipment, rules and safety. Students must be 8 years old and up.
