Volunteer & Job Opportunities
Volunteer as a Tutor:
The youth involved in Work to Ride are required to participate in our tutoring program and must maintain passing grades in order to play on the polo team. We depend on volunteer tutors to help accomplish this task. As a tutor you will work one on one with a child in our program after school at the barn. The time commitment is flexible, but regular and consistent commitment is needed.
Saturday Work Team:
Put together a team of people to come to the barn on a Saturday morning to do yard work, cleaning and light construction.
Volunteer time for construction or cleaning projects:
We are always working to improve the facilities where our programs are located. If you have construction skills or just have a group that wants to help clean a site, clear trails or garden, we’d love to have you come visit for a day.
Internships:
If you are a college-aged student and want an amazing experience learning about barn management, urban youth work while getting hands-on experience, come and join us for a summer (or a year) as an Intern Program.
